Before you purchase a new home it is always a good idea to research the schools in the surrounding area. The quality and/or proximity of the schools surrounding your home may significantly impact its resale value.  As a real estate agent I am keenly aware of the importance quality education has on property values.

This is a great site for more indept information on a particular school or district.  It will give you performance information on subgroups which is fairly indicitive of overall parent satisfaction.
